It’s good to see our ‘High Streets’ high on the political agenda this week again!
📈 Ironically I was spending yesterday with Simon Jenner the BID Dircetor for BID Leicester as part of my ongoing work at Leicester and Leicestershire Business and Skills Partnership Chair.
🕙 So much of the work of economic regeneration and development happens quietly behind factory gates, lab doors and campus fences. I am lucky that I get to see our amazing new businesses at high tech work at our Universities and our Science and Enterprise parks - delivering high class well paid jobs across the city and county Space Park Leicester Charnwood Campus Science Innovation and Technology Park MIRA Tech Park or #startups
But I realise many people measure the strength of the local economy by their own living standards and of course the health of our High Streets.
