After a lengthy process, the government charity commission has officially registered the Coach AnnieZ Foundation as a charity.
The Foundation aims to empower, inspire and encourage girls and young women to reach their potential and is spearheaded by Annie Zaidi BEM, Europe’s first UEFA B licensed female Muslim football coach.
The Saje Impact team are delighted that the Foundation has been entered onto the register of charities and will now work to secure some support and additional resources.
Annie Zaidi BEM said:
“My vision has finally become a reality. This recognition has not only helped to put us on the map but it has also given my team the boost we need to progress with the Foundation’s aims and objectives. This is a key stepping stone for us and I’m excited for what the future holds.”
