Saje Impact played an integral role at the CSP Network Convention held at the East Midlands Conference Centre in March.

The annual convention gathered Senior Managers, Directors, Board Members and Partners of the CSP Network with the aim of building relationships, sharing insight, developing new ways of thinking for local delivery organisations and shaping the next generation of CSPs.

Our Director Andy Reed was in action on both days of the convention delivering thought-provoking workshops on Strategic Partnerships and Stakeholder Management with the support of Brian Wakley who provided expertise from an international development perspective. In addition to delivering two highly interactive workshops, Andy also hosted the Good to Great Impact Awards, celebrating the outstanding work of CSPs to improve lives through grassroots sport and physical activity.

The content from the workshops Andy delivered will be used to form the basis of a proposal to Sport England and the CSP Network with this ‘toolkit’ helping to define the landscape for sport and physical activity.

The 2017 edition of the convention also included keynotes from Jennie Price (CEO of Sport England) and Lee Mason (CEO of the CPSN), networking opportunities, a formal dinner, and a marketplace where a series of organisations such as boditrax and Cancer Research UK pitched their offers and services.
