The Saje Impact team attended a High Performance Leadership Forum co-hosted by David Sleman of EP Partners (a Saje Impact Partner) and Miramar, a recruitment consultancy agency.
The Chatham House style event came to life through recognising there was a common challenge of trying to address issues around leadership development, with a focus on the critical question:
Are our business/organisations equipped to identify and develop the leadership that is required to meet their objectives now and in the future? If not, what are we going to do about it?
The aim of the Leadership Forum was to analyse what the worlds of business, sport and the military can learn from each other and the panellists had a unique blend of experiences across these sectors:
- Andy Salmon CMG OBE, ex Commandant General Royal Marines and Senior Business Advisor
- Anton Oliver, ex All Black Captain and Head of Equities at M&G
- Lucinda Pullinger, HR Director RFY
- Anthony Eastwood, HR Director Rolls Royce Motor Cars
Alongside the panel, the forum gathered over 100 senior leaders, CEO’s, high performance practitioners and representatives from global listed companies and private corporates as well as the investment community.
Informative talks were captured by a skilled illustrator and followed by an engaging Q&E and networking session. The evening was thought-provoking and stimulated new ways of thinking and provided several key messages on leadership themes that we will take forwards and put into practice.
