The Saje Impact team were at Wembley Stadium last night with London Sport for Pitch Perfect: The Sport Tech Revolution.

Hosted by Barclays, the event assembled a group of sports technology scale-ups seeking to take their company to the next level. With cutting edge technology becoming ever present in our daily lives, it was only a matter of time before tech companies set their sights on sport!

The audience were taken on a tour of the 90,000-seat Wembley Stadium, hearing first hand from companies showcasing their exciting sport-tech innovations. The pitches inspired new thinking in sports technology, from wearable devices that provide objective performance feedback to apps that allow you to compete against friends virtually and capture the space around you by running.

The evening concluded with a panel session and Q&A with Paul Hawkins, Founder of Hawk-Eye who shared his journey from tech entrepreneur to investor. The other panellists who debated the changing face of technology in sport included Peter Fitzboydon (CEO of London Sport), Jacqui Oatley MBE (Sports Presenter) and Peter Brooks (Head of Behavioural Finance at Barclays).
