After a Bumper 2018 it looks like 2019 will be the same for the SajeImpact Team!
We have enjoyed working with our clients in 2018 and many of the long term projects will be carried forward into the new year. Real progress has been made with Leicester Tigers and Scunthorpe United Football Club so these capital projects should finish this year.
We also undertook a few time limited projects for Sport England and the CSP network with the new Improvement and performance framework now being rolled out across the network for example.
The new projects for 2019 include some public advocacy support for the Activity Alliance and Judo, new support for Sporting Equals and establishing a Coaching and Mentoring programme.
Andy Reed Founder and Director of SajeImpact said “We have always remained flexible and agile in the services we are able to provide and always to the needs of the client - not our pre determined way of doing things. That's why every year feels slightly different and offers new challenges. In 2019 we are adding a few new clients as well as really starting to develop those we have been supporting over the last couple of years. Watch out for big things in 2019 from Incus performance, Elite Performance partners and Sport 80. “
He continued “I will still Chair SAPCA and support the Sports Think Tank to offer thought Leadership into the sport and PA sector, but generally I am aiming to slow down taking on too many projects - although my team are stepping up and taking on more work. For example Rob Cook has been a great additioin to the team in 2018 taking up leads on the Annie Zaidi Foundation, #theFWord conference and some of our work with Sporting Equals.”
“We are excited by what 2019 has to offer!”
Merry Christmas from the team at SajeImpact as we close for the Christmas holiday period.
Sajeimpact will open for business again on Monday 7th January
Best wishes from us all

Andy Reed joined speakers De William Bird and Sport England Mike Diaper at a stakeholder event held in Oxford this week.
Andy Reed was once again a guest lecturer at Loughborough University last week.
The University Sports Management students are keen to get real life industry perspectives in their studies and Andy is always keen to highlight how sports policy making has evolved over his 20+ years of front line experience.
SajeImpact Director this week delivered a session for the Activity Alliance on their advocacy and engagement work.
Andy said “ the Activity Alliance have rebranded and have a clear strategy about what they want to achieve for people with a disability.
They need their messageto be heard by key decision and policy makers. We will help create a plan and build advocacy into the comma strategy.”
Andy Reed was one of the guest speakers at the All Party Parliamentary Boxing Group in Parliament this week. The Group discussed the role of Boxing in prisons.
Andy representing the Sports Think Tank said the STT had been supporting promotion of the case of sport in prisons and the research by Rosie Meeks for the MoJ had made a case for combat sports. He argued that greater evidence may be needed to convince officials and advisors but working together the APPG could make significant progress.
The new world class facility was added to Loughborough University this week with the opening of the Elite Athlete Centre and Hotel.
“Over the 25 years I have been able to help in one way or another to develop the University into a World Class elite sports environment and so it is great to see the development continue. Anybody knows you can't sit back - continual improvement is necessary in the coaching as well as the facilities.
“ As usual the event was an opportunity to showcase the growing importance of the Sports Economy in Leicestershire and a great chance to catch up with so many friends at the opening and Hall of Fame inductions!
A debate about sporting integrity between young people and representatives from UNICEF, UK Anti-Doping and the Department of Digital, Culture, Media and Sport will take place at Loughborough University next week.
Youngsters from local schools will join, academics, PhD researchers and policymakers from national sporting organisations and international charities at Loughborough University Football Stadium, on Thursday, November 8.
The day will include roundtable discussions centred around three main topics:
- Should athletes be punished for the use of appearance (not performance) enhancement substances?
- Do the means justify the ends in sports coaching? Motivational coaching or bullying to achieve the best performance possible.
- Should athletes be punished for what they post on social media?
