😍 A great evening joining colleagues at the Paralympic/C4 Parliamentary reception in the House of Commons for the Sport for Development Coalition . It’s been a pleasure to work with the team ParalympicsGB on their hashtag#EqualPlaycampaign.
👏 The opening remarks from Dr Marie Tidball MP were powerful and worryingly familiar about the barriers for disabled people in Parliament - both physically and procedurally. Too little has changed.
👌🏻 Some great messages from Alex Mahon and David Clarke OBE, PLY about the progress both Channel 4 and the Palaympics have made since the partnership started ahead of 2012… but also worryingly just how far there is still to go, on a day we saw the latest Active Lives Survey figures released by Sport England so good to chat to Helen Rowbotham about the amazing work of Access Sport
