🙏 I haven’t played in every one of the 50 seasons Birstall RFC has existed but it was some of our teachers at school who set up the club as an outlet for those of us who played at school and I believe I started soon after in 1982! I played my last game a couple of years ago. I miss it dearly but reliving memories and seeing the club develop the next generation through the Greenpups (again some dedicated volunteers) is heartwarming as it’s a tough environment in local rugby clubs and playing numbers.
👍🏻 It would be impossible to single out all the people who have played a role in keeping rugby alive and growing at Birstall but THANK YOU. I’ve always tried to do my bit but I have had the opportunity because of those who give up hours week after week!
